ABOUT ANITA

Anita loves travel, writing and food

Anita BrelandI travel far and often—with my husband, on my own and with friends. For me, inspiration can come from anywhere, from travels or a good meal, and from distant lands or my neighborhood. I began this travel blog with a meal around a table with my Swiss neighbors.

Since then, travel experiences around the world have enriched my home, my table and life with my husband, photographer Tom Fakler. I’m a museum junkie who lives my passion for active travel and cultural immersion. I’m always on the hunt for my next great meal!

My travel writing has appeared on other blogs and websites and in compilations of writing about food. For more about the food travel behind Anita’s Feast, check out my interview with Cilantro Cooks!
