The Luberon, with its hilltop villages and light-blessed countryside evokes more than its share of nostalgia. It is the wild side of Provence, with nature parks, mountains and sometimes howling winds. At once serene and wild, the region is warmed by a Mediterranean sun much of the year, and blessed with Mediterranean food ways and rustic traditions.
We visited the perched villages of the Luberon with Wendy Jaeger of Bliss Travels and experienced the region in ways we would never have discovered on our own.
